In 1987 I received my first camera, a Pentax 35mm semi-automatic body, and three lenses. I began taking photos everywhere I went. In those days you got 36 frames on one role of film and, if you were lucky, you had a handful of shots worth printing. I learned to create the best shots I possibly could, straight out of the camera, using f-stops, shutter speed and manual focus.
